HOURS OF WORK:

•The season runs from mid-November until the end of April

•5day working week, hours to meet requirements of the business. Days off may be split into 1 full day and 2 half days.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:

A front of house based role that is vital to the clients pre holiday requests, ensuring that our clients have the best possible stay. Therefore a candidate with excellent and proficient IT skills, along with professional interpersonal skills is needed.

Managing a team of six (split between two chalets), previous managerial experience is advantageous. Previous experience working for different nationalities including Russian and French clients is desirable. Conversational and written French is a must. A team player with the ability to work independently, an eye for detail, proactive, excellent time management and organisational skills are mandatory.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Alongside the Client Manger – collation and management of the chalets client booking information and dissemination to company personnel. This includes but is not exclusive to:

•All pre-arrival information

•Transfer planning and organising outsourcing if required

•Chalet configurations

•Client diet requirements

•Ski and Snowboard equipment hire

•Booking of additional activities e;g ski lessons

•Purchase and management of any additional client lift passes.

•Manage your assigned chalet in all respects inclusive of upkeep, maintenance and stock controls.

•Manage your chalet staff in every aspect of their job roles.

•Conduct chalet welcome speeches ensuring all dietary requirements are checked and any requests for the week are accommodated for accordingly.

•Provide assistance too the members of the chalet team with standard morning duties (7.30am to 11am) and standard afternoon duties (4.30pm to pre-dinner Champagne & canapés) each day.

•Be flexible and available to cover different chalet job roles should this be required.

•Assist with chalet changeovers.

•Control and administration of the chalet petty cash fund.

•Alongside the Concierge and Resort Managers, planning and organising transfers for clients on changeover days.

•Inspection and damage reports of your chalet vehicles on a daily basis and a weekly meeting with the company Vehicle Manager.

•Conduct a weekly inspection of the staff accommodation where your particular chalet personnel are lodged.

•Conduct a weekly meeting with your chalet team and the Concierge, Vehicle and Resort Managers.

The Company reserves the right to vary your duties and responsibilities at any time and from time to time according to the needs of the Company’s business.

GENERAL:

•You have an obligation to be smart, presentable and wearing company uniform at all times when at work.

•Lateness for work will not be tolerated and will result in an official warning.

•You must return your accommodation and uniform at the end of your contract in the same state as it was handed to you at the beginning of your contract.

•In the event that you damage a company vehicle and it is your fault alone you will responsible for paying for the first €200 of the insurance excess.
