As the Head Chef at our luxury chalet nestled in the heart of the stunning French Alps, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional culinary experience for our guests. You will have the opportunity to work in a picturesque setting while showcasing your passion for Alpine and international cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:

Menu Creation: Design seasonal menus in harmony with local produce and guest preferences, offering a diverse range of culinary delights.

Meal Preparation: Prepare high-quality dishes while adhering to food safety standards, using fresh, local ingredients to deliver an unforgettable dining experience.

Kitchen Management: Efficiently manage the chalet’s kitchen, including inventory management, procurement, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Team Supervision: Lead and mentor a kitchen team to ensure the delivery of exceptional culinary services, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.

Customer Service: Interact with guests to accommodate their dietary preferences and provide personalized dining experiences, ensuring their satisfaction and culinary enjoyment.

Innovation: Stay updated with culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques and ideas into the menu to continually enhance the dining experience.

Cost Control: Manage kitchen costs effectively, including portion control, waste reduction, and budget adherence, while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or chalet.
Culinary degree or relevant certification.
Strong knowledge of Alpine and international cuisine, including a focus on using locally sourced ingredients.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
A passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences in a luxury hospitality setting.
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French is a plus.
