Head Waiter

You will be responsible for leading the service team during service hours, ensuring seamless guest experiences, maintaining service standards, and acting as the key point of contact between guests and the kitchen. This position requires exceptional hospitality, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and team coordination.

Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Table Management

  • Welcome guests warmly and guide them through the Blu experience with elegance and ease.
  • Present menus, introduce the family-style concept, and provide knowledgeable recommendations on food and wine pairings.
  • Oversee the entire guest experience from seating to farewell.
  • Conduct detailed food and wine presentations at the table.

Team Leadership & Service Coordination

  • Supervise assistant waiters and ensure synchronized service flow.
  • Communicate clearly with the kitchen and bar for timely dish and drink delivery.
  • Set and maintain table standards, including silverware, glassware, and mise en place.
  • Lead pre-shift briefings and delegate floor responsibilities during service.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Head Waiter or Senior Waiter in upscale or fine dining.
  • Familiarity with family-style service and tableside presentation techniques.
  • Natural leadership skills with a warm, team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment with grace and poise.
